The flop came J93 and Moorman checked. Shchemelev bet 4,000. Moorman check-raised to 11,000 and Shchemelev called. The 10 landed on the turn and Moorman led out for 17,200, putting his opponent all in. Shchemelev called and exposed the 1010 while Moorman tabled pocket threes for set over set. Moorman had just one out to eliminate his opponent. That miracle came as the 3 pealed off the deck. Moorman is now in the money and guaranteed at least $17,987. Phil Ivey Eliminated Phil Ivey is stationary today. With his chip stack still remaining in event No. 33, Ivey asked the tournament staff if he could play his match before everyone else began round three. The floor approved and Kido Pham agreed to play early. Unfortunately for Ivey he was eliminated by Pham, but now has a much simpler today. Vivek Rajkumar Advances Vivek Rajkumar raised with A-J from the button and Eric Cloutier called. The flop came K-Q-7 and both players checked. A ten fell on the turn and Cloutier fired into the pot. Rajkumar raised and Cloutier shoved. Rajkumar made the insta-call and exposed the nut straight while Cloutier exposed 10-10 for a set. The straight held and Rajkumar is on to the next round with a cash. Rajkumar has been dominant in the heads-up format recently. In 2009 he won the LAPC heads-up championship and this year almost defended his title by finishing runner-up. Amazingly, Chris Moore was Rajkumar’s opponent both times.
