George Lind led the counts going into Level 32 and after splitting a huge all-in pot at the beginning of the level, things started to go the other way for him. He lost the chip lead to Vyacheslav Zhukov shortly after, and ultimately lost the match on this final hand of the night.

Lind Gets Low, Doubles Up to Stay Alive
Lind started the level in the red and Zhukov put the pressure on early, quickly gaining a 2:1 chip lead on him. After scooping a big pot with a flush and strong low, Zhukov had about 4 million to Lind’s 2 million. Zhukov continued to put the pressure on until he had Lind down to about 1 million before Lind scooped a big pot to double up.

The flop came A 8 3, Lind checked, Zhukov bet, Lind check-raised and Zhukov called.
The turn was the 4, Lind moved all in and Zhukov called.
Lind showed 10 6 5 2 for the made wheel, but Zhukov showed K Q 10 5 for a flush draw.
The river was the 3, and Lind doubled up to over 2 million this hand to stay alive.
Lind Takes Back Chip Lead
Lind got the chip counts back to nearly even after scooping another pot midway through the level, and in this hand he claimed the lead once again.

George Lind Takes Back the Lead
Lind has been pretty aggressive this past level and it had earned him back the chip lead at one point, although Zhukov had managed to reclaim the lead by the end of the level. Lind has played several big pots to the river where he wasn’t forced into a showdown. Here is one of those hands, and the one in particular that gave him back the chip lead.

Steve Billirakis came into the final day as the short stack with just over six big blinds and after getting scooped by Vyacheslav Zhukov in a previous pot, Billirakis was down to his last 75,000 when he was forced all in from the big blind.
Vyacheslav Zhukov limped from the button and George Lind completed the small blind for the side pot.
Both players checked the side pot to a showdown on a board of Q 8 5 J K.
Billirakis turned over A J 8d 6 for two pair while Zhukov showed K K Q 4 for top set, eliminating Steve Billirakis in 3rd place ($214,697).
NOTE: With the elimination of Steve Billirakis in 3rd place ($214,697), heads-up play began shortly thereafter. George Lind took the chip lead into the final match with just over 3.5 million to Vyacheslav Zhukov’s 2.5 million.
Vyacheslav Zhukov Takes Chip Lead
In a pot worth well over 1.5 million, Vyacheslav Zhukov scooped with quad sevens, taking the chip lead for the first time during heads-up play. This put him at about 3.3 million to Lind’s 2.7 million.
Soon after gaining the chip lead, Vyacheslav Zhukov widened the gap after quartering Lind in a big pot. Lind was the aggressor the entire way with the made nut low on the turn, but got counterfeited on the river when a deuce hit and he was forced to split the low pot with Zhukov. Zhukov won the high half with two pair, and after being quartered in this pot, Lind is now facing a serious chip deficit of 1.2 million to Zhukov’s 4.8 million.

George Lind Takes the Chip Lead From Ashby
George Lind ended the previous level with just under a million chips, only to dwindle down to about half that midway through the level before doubling through then chip leader Richard Ashby to get back to the million mark. Lind then went on to scoop another big pot from Ashby and Vyacheslav Zhukov, putting himself over the 2 million mark and in contention for the chip lead. By the end of the level, Lind had clashed with Ashby one last time, this time taking the chip lead for himself.
