Max Steinberg started his comeback march by doubling up to over 300,000 when his 10-9 defeated the 9-8 of Isaac Hagerling on a board reading Q-J-3-4-J. His second double came with 10-8 against the 9-7 of Hagerling. The board was dealt A-10-2-9-A and Steinberg was over 500,000.
Near the end of the level Steinberg was all-in once again preflop. This time he held A-10 and Hagerling had K-J. The board hit 6-4-4-3-A and Steinberg was just over a million and out of the danger zone for now.
