If you are itching for more poker news and deals, make sure that you're signed up for Card Player's new and improved bimonthly newsletter.
Card Player recently updated the newsletter's look, but that wasn't all that changed. Card Player and its online poker partners have been working to get Card Player newsletter subscribers exclusive access to special tournaments, contests, and free poker-strategy content.
Those who are interested in obtaining access to these great deals can sign up for the newsletter now by going to CardPlayer.com/newsletter.
Newsletter subscribers can expect to hear about Card Player-exclusive tournaments, the passwords for which are given only to fellow newsletter subscribers, thus guaranteeing small fields for value-added or freeroll tournaments. Subscribers also will get early access to Card Player-exclusive tournaments that are open to all Card Player readers, including those for the new value-added tournaments being hosted by Bodog.
In addition to the exclusive tournaments, every edition of the newsletter features a trivia contest, wherein newsletter subscribers can submit answers and, if correct, be entered into a prize drawing. The most recent winners were awarded quarterly memberships to SpadeClub.com, Card Player's subscription-based poker site. Very few subscribers have been submitting entries with the correct answers, so your chances are phenomenally good!
Finally, every newsletter links to a subscriber-only page with access to two free full-length poker-training videos, courtesy of Card Player Pro (powered by PokerSavvy Plus). These videos are not clips, but are full, in-depth strategy training videos that one would have access to only with a full membership to Card Player Pro. (A seven-day free trial to Card Player Pro is also available.) For some free Card Player Pro video clips to whet your appetite, you can go to CardPlayer.com/pro/preview.
The newsletter is sent out twice monthly, on the first and third Mondays of every month. Make it part of your required monthly poker reading and, with a ton of added value, a bankroll builder for your game.
