This July in Paris

It's a dry Friday night in July, slightly after midnight. Windows are wide open on the Champs-Elysées, and you can feel a summer breeze as you play poker in the most crowded room in Europe. Discover the wooded and warm atmosphere of an intimate club, enjoy French cuisine, and be our guests for the most prestigious European competition of the year.

World Poker Tour – Season No. 2

The Aviation Club de France is proud to present the first official World Poker Tour event of the 2003-2004 season. From July 1 to July 13, join us on the most beautiful avenue of the world to participate in the Grand Prix De Paris – a €10,000 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament that is expected to offer a prize pool more than €1 million. Who knows, you could be one of the finalists to compete in front of the WPT cameras in the elegant ACF Chemin de Fer room.

Supersatellites

Supersatellites for this monster WPT event have been running in Paris for weeks. On top of that, five giant supersatellites are scheduled during the summer festival, and you'll find single- and double-table satellites running during the day.

Smoking or Nonsmoking?

Innovation! For every tournament in the Aviation Club, you have the option of picking your seat in a smoke-free environment. Indeed, the Club's tournament room is a nonsmoking area. However, some smoking tables in a separate room are available to players during the first rounds of play.

Cash-Game Action

Renowned on the European poker scene for its big cash games, the Aviation Club will spread both pot-limit and limit games. Pot-limit buy-ins range from €50 to €10,000, and limit buy-ins are €20-€40 up to €1,000-€2,000; you can be sure you'll find a game at your limit.

Special Deals

Promotions are offered in collaboration with Card Player magazine. Get free deluxe French meals in the Club's gourmet restaurant, or even a chance to win one of the two €500 WPT supersatellite entries that will be given away. Visit CardPlayer.com for details.

In Brief

The Aviation Club's official WPT tournament dates have been moved from February to July in order to avoid clashing with the Commerce Casino tournament in Los Angeles. Many American poker players have already confirmed their plans to travel to Paris for the WPT event, and with the traditional presence of all Europeans, as well as many representatives from all around the globe, this tournament promises to be one of the most cosmopolitan WPT finals of all.
