The Card Player Poker Tour (CPPT) will soon roll into Florida’s largest and most exciting poker room, bestbet Jacksonville.

With 14 events and numerous satellites taking place from August 29 through September 9, it’s a must-attend event in one of the most exciting poker destinations in the United States.

The CPPT is a series of live poker tournaments started by Card Player Media, publishers of Card Player, and poker web portal CardPlayer.com. The tour stop at bestbet Jacksonville will feature live web broadcasting of its final table event, as well as a players’ points system.

“We are very excited for our association with the Card Player Poker Tour,” says Deborah Giardina, Vice President of Poker Operations. “We look forward to providing players with Vegas style wagering and Jacksonville style hospitality.”

The highlight of the bestbest Jacksonville series is the $300,000 guaranteed, $1,500 no-limit hold’em main event, which kicks off (with the first of two starting days) on September 6. Players can look forward to plenty of play, as they will start with 20,000 in chips and hour-long levels.

bestbet Jacksonville’s poker room features 70 tables, an expansive simulcast wagering facility with numerous 120” screens where you can watch and wager on greyhound and thoroughbred races or jai alai, and full food and beverage service. It is conveniently located just minutes from Jacksonville International Airport.

bestbet Jacksonville and bestbet Orange Park, a sister property located in the suburbs of Jacksonville, also host a number of fantastic greyhound races for everyone to watch, wager, and win on. At Orange Park, you can watch from the grandstand, or cheer on your dog from the rail. There’s delicious food and drinks too.

Dining options also abound at both locations. Whether you’re enjoying live greyhound racing at bestbet Orange Park Kennel Club or heating up the bestbet poker tables at Jacksonville or Orange Park, you can enjoy our fine dining specialties, traditional favorites and incredible hand-rolled sushi in our expansive clubhouse, banquet facilities, or snack bars. “If you are new to Florida’s beautiful First Coast, you may want to explore the treasures that Jacksonville has to offer,” says Giardina. “The city is home to incredible beaches and water sports, fine dining, and world class golf.
