EPT rolls into Vienna$5,300 main event highlights the schedule |

Season 7 of the European Poker Tour (EPT) has arrived in Vienna, Austria for its first stop in the region since season 1. Card Player will feature live coverage via the PokerStars blog feed starting tomorrow and the final table will have live streaming video courtesy of EPT Live on Sunday, October 31.
The 2005 visit attracted the biggest field of the entire season, at 297 players. French pro Pascal Perrault took down the title and €184,500 ($244,297).
This time around, the PokerStars-sponsored event is going bigger by guaranteeing a €500,000 first-place prize for what will be a five-day €5,300 main event, running October 26-31 in the historic Kursalon palace.
The main event starts at noon with players starting with 30,000 in chips and levels lasting 60 minutes on Day 1 and 75 minutes on the days that follow. Blinds will start at 50-100.
Other tournaments on the schedule include a €330 ladies event, €1,100 H.O.R.S.E event, €1,100 8 Game event, and several bounty events.
