Bryn Kenney is leading EPT Barcelona after day 2.Day 2 has come to an end at the PokerStars EPT Barcelona main event, and sitting atop the leaderboard is American Bryn Kenney.

A little more than 400 of the 758 players who entered the event survived days 1A and 1B to make their way to today’s day 2 action. After another 7 levels of play, the money bubble burst when Koen De Visscher moved all in preflop with QClub SuitQHeart Suit and was called by Andrei Bucica with ASpade SuitAHeart Suit. The board of KClub SuitJSpade Suit3Diamond Suit6Spade Suit6Diamond Suit sent De Visscher to the rail as the bubble boy, leaving 112 players still in the hunt for the EPT crown. They’ll return tomorrow for day 3 and play down to 27. All remaining players are guaranteed at least €7,500. The winner will take home €825,000.

Kenney finished day 2 with 693,500 in chips, followed closely by Roman Makhlin with 643,000 and Giuesseppe Pantaleo with 622,500. Also still alive are the likes of day 1B chip leader Luis Rufas (502,000), Dominik Nitsche (535,000), Alex Gomes (93,000), and Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier (63,000).
