Jose 'Nacho' Barbero won two LAPT main events in 2010, and he's still alive in this one.The PokerStars Latin American Poker Tour is bigger than ever. Season 4 of the LAPT kicked off this week in São Paulo, Brazil, where starting day attendance in the R$5,000 buy-in main event easily surpassed the tour’s previous record of 394 players. The record was cracked, then it was crushed as more and more players continued to register inside the Sheraton WTC São Paulo, bringing the final count to 536 entrants by the day’s end.

The massive turnout makes this the biggest field in LAPT history. The top 64 players will make the money and earn at least R$9,570 of the R$2,391,630 prize pool. The winner of LAPT Sao Paulo will take home R$615,840 ($370,586), which is the second-largest top prize ever for the LAPT.
