There was a smaller turnout on day 1B of The Big Event at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, California on Sunday but there were many big-name professionals among the 154 players who participated. Players like Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Tilly, Jason Alexander and Dwyte Pilgrim came straight to L.A. from the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship in Las Vegas, and other professionals like Men Nguyen, Kathy Liebert, Scott Clements, and former world champions Joseph Cada and Jerry Yang were in action on Day 1B as well.
The total field size stands at 417 entries, and the top 56 will make the money. The total prize pool for the event is $1,921,327. Here is a look at the total payout structure for The Big Event:

It is possible that the money will be reached tomorrow. With 130 players coming back from Day 1A and 93 surviving from Day 1B, there will be 223 players in the hunt tomorrow. A few notables who didn’t survive day 1B included John Hennigan, Men Nguyen, Joe Cada, Carter Phillips, Matt Affleck, Daniel Alaei, Nikolay Evdakov, Micah Raskin, Jason Alexander, and Jennifer Tilly.
There was no runaway chip leader on Day 1B, but there are a number of players who accumulated very healthy stacks during the day. Shawn Hart is the chip leader with just over 150,000. Notables near the top of the leader board include Ali Eslami with 135,200 and Negreanu, who holds 111,500. Negreanu went on a rush during the last level of play tonight despite being seated at a tough table with Hennigan, Pilgrim, and Liebert.
