The final table is set at the $10,000 World Series of Poker Circuit Southern Regional Championship at the Harrah’s in New Orleans. A short day 3 saw the final 18 players shrink down to the final nine. Those finalists will return tomorrow to fight for the final eight spots in the money and the overall top prize worth $237,456.
The player who is in the best position heading into tomorrow is chip leader AJ Jejelowo with 489,000. The only other player with more than 400,000 is Gary Friedlander (469,000). The headliners at tomorrow’s final table include short-stacked Allen Kessler, Matthew Waxman, who also made the final table of the $1,500 main event in New Orleans, and Allie Prescott.

Shannon Shorr raised to 10,000 from early position preflop and Allie Prescott reraised to 27,500. Shorr then reraised all in for 160,000 Prescott made the call to cover Shorr and they flipped over their cards:

Shorr was eliminated in 10th place, just one spot shy of the final table and two spots shy of the money bubble. Prescott grew his chip stack to 353,000 for tomorrow’s final table and play came to a close for the night at end of the hand.
