Season three of the Paradise Poker Tour kicks off at the Concord Card Club in Vienna, Austria today with a €25 buy-in no-limit hold’em rebuy super satellite at 7 p.m. (CET). This event will see 10 players get a seat in the tournament everyone wants to play there, the €550 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event.

Supplying some action for those not even at the current stop, ParadisePoker.com is running its free Fantasy Poker where players firstly pick a team of three from the main event field in Vienna which will be published at the Paradise Poker Tour blog. They then track their team throughout the event and get points for the top 50 places. The winner gets a €1,200 package for the next stop in Barcelona.

This event kicks off on Oct. 7 and plays out across three days with players battling for a guaranteed prize pool of €125,000. This year also sees players get an improved structure with a 20,000 in chips starting stack.

Last year it was Hungarian player, Gabor Skrinyar, who beat a record 338 players to become champion in Austria.

There is plenty of time to join Skrinyar in the winner’s corner this season with four more stops coming up. Late November sees the Tour pull into Barcelona, while Prague kicks off the new year in January, there is an unconfirmed stop in March, and the final leg will take place in May with the perfect summer destination, Greece. There are satellites running every day from as little as €0.30c and there are seven €1,100 packages guaranteed every week at ParadisePoker.com.
