Poker pro Isaac Haxton — best known for winning $862,000 by finishing as the runner-up in the 2007 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) — recently joined the stable of professional poker trainers for Card Player Pro, powered by PokerSavvy Plus. Haxton will join the talented roster of trainers to provide hand-for-hand training videos, poker blogs, and strategy articles for Card Player magazine, and he will also respond to strategy questions in the forums on the PokerSavvy Plus website.
A sample clip of Haxton’s first training video will appear on the Card Player Pro preview page free of charge next week. Until then, Card Player readers can read his blog or view the strategy interview he did recently for Card Player’s Online Zone.
While Haxton’s most notable cash was at the PCA, he has followed that finish up with considerable success on the tournament trail — both live and online — and in cash games. He has earned more than $1 million in live tournaments alone in his lifetime. His training videos will show his versatility by covering both multitable tournaments and cash-game play.
