J.J. Liu Wins WPT Ladies Night

She Won a $25,000 Seat to the WPT Championship

J.J. Liu was the final lady standing at the World Poker Tour Ladies Night IV championship that was held at the Bicycle Club last night. She defeated Jennifer Tilly, Vanessa Rousso, Erica Schoenberg, Anahit Galajian, and Bicycle Club qualifier Kelli Griggs.

Liu has a total of $765,013 and will have the chance to significantly add to that. For her victory, she won a $25,000 seat into the WPT championship that will be held in April.

Griggs won her seat at the table in the $125 qualifier where 10-percent of the pot went to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. An auction was also held in conjunction with the qualifier to raise money for cancer awareness.

World Poker Tour Ladies Night IV will be shown on the Travel Channel 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
