PaddyPowerPoker.com has today launched its outright betting market for poker fans to take a punt at who they expect to take down the upcoming Irish Winter Festival (IWF).
Favourites to win the €1,125 buy-in main event include European Poker Tour finalists Mick Graydon and Jason Tompkins. This is no surprise as the two Irishmen have been tearing up Euro felt with Graydon finishing eighth in Madrid and following this up with five more final tables, and Tompkins taking home €171,000 from the EPT’s most recent stop, in San Remo, Italy. The two are priced at 66/1.
Some familiar names are then down a tier at 80/1, these include Thomas Finneran, Dara O’Kearney, Owen Robinson, and Feargal Nealon.
There are plenty more players to choose from at various odds, and anyone who plays in the event can get a price, ensuring a greater sweat on the weekend for family, friends, and players themselves.

The IWF features bundles of action from Oct. 26 to 29 at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, with plenty of side event action on top of the main event, including a new unique doubles tournament.
There is still time to qualify for the IWF main event at PaddyPowerPoker.com. The 10-day IWF Last Chance Saloon (LCS) guaranteeing 40 main event seats began on Oct. 15 and 10 out of the original 15 events remain.
Tonight there is one seat guaranteed each in two €25 + €2.50 R/A events, one at 8 p.m. and the other at 9.30 p.m.. The Very Last Chance Saloon takes place on Oct. 25 at 10 p.m. with one seat up for grabs. This is aimed at those who have played seven or more previous LCS satellites.
