Paris Hosts Euro Finals Of Poker From Today

The 16th annual Euro Finals of Poker gets underway at the Aviation Club de France, Paris today, Tuesday January 8 running until January 28 with a multitude of poker opportunities including the World Poker Tour National Paris and six championship events.

The €1,500 WPT National re-entry tournament takes place from January 10 to 14 while the schedule for the six championship events get underway on January 15 with the €500 buy in Bronze Championship.

The full schedule of Championship events is:

Bronze Championship: Tuesday 15 & Wednesday 16 of January (Buy-in €500 NLH Freezeout)
Silver Championship: Thursday 17 & Friday 18 of January (Buy-in € 1,000 NLH Freezeout)
Gold Championship: Saturday 19 to Monday 21 of January (Buy-in €2,000 NLH Freezeout)
Omaha Championship: Monday 21 & Tuesday 22nd January (Buy-in €1,000 PLO Triple Chance)
Diamond Championship: From Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 of January (Buy-in €5,000 NLH Freezeout)
High Roller: Sunday 27 & Monday 28 of January (Buy-in €10,000 NLH Freezeout)

Last year the Diamond Championship was won by French rap star Bruno “Kool Shen” Lopes taking home €129,410 for topping the 109-strong field.
