The Euro Finals of Poker Diamond Championship gets underway today at the Aviation Club de France in Paris.
The €5,000 buy in main event takes place over four days from Thursday January 24 to Sunday January 27.
Players get 25,000 in chips and blinds, starting at 50-100, rise every 75 minutes with an ante of 25 starting at in the fourth level, 100-200.
The Euro Finals of Poker has already seen Giuseppe Zarbo win €12,400 in the €500 buy in Bronze Championship, Jean Paul Pasqualini take down €24,675 in the €1,000 buy in Silver Championship, and Houri Yoni lift €38,915 in the €2,000 Buy In gold championship.
Laurent Polito won the €1,500 World Poker Tour National Paris main event earlier in the festival beating 228 players to take home €82,000.
Last year Bruno “Kool Shen” Lopes (Kool Shen) won €129,000 for topping the 109-strong field in the Diamond Championship.
