Triple crown winner Jake Cody has joined Team PokerStars Pro. The former PKR pro from the UK was announced as the latest signing in the Bahamas where he’s playing the PCA.

Cody, who has a World Series of Poker Europe Heads Up bracelet, a European Poker Tour Deauville main event title and World Poker Tour London main event title along with $3 million in live tournament earnings, joins fellow Brits Victoria Coren and Liv Boeree to become the youngest member of the ubiquitous stable of professionals.

Cody said, “Team Pokerstars Pro is the holy grail of poker sponsorship. It has been a long term goal for a while now and for it to finally happen feels like a dream come true.”

“My goals now are to improve my live game for some upcoming events, continue to focus on heads-up No Limit Hold’em, but also try to develop my pot-limit Omaha game.”

Stablemate and fellow countrywoman Boeree added, “Jake is such great ambassador for poker in the UK – he’s a great player but he’s also a humble guy.

“He’s incredibly competitive, and is always striving to improve his game. With so many titles under his belt at such a young age, he’s going to have a very long and successful career ahead of him.”
