The €1,000 + €100 PokerStars Estrellas Poker Tour main event kicked off in Valencia, Spain yesterday, Wednesday, April 3, attracting 196 players for day 1A.
Day 1B gets underway at Casino Cirsa Valencia today and is expected to attract a similar number of players to what is the second stop on the fourth season of the tour.
Players get 20,000 in chips and a one hour clock with registration open for the first to levels. As ever four percent is deducted from prize pools to cover tournament staffing costs.
The main event final table takes place on Sunday.
Last year 387 players took to the felt in the same tournament which was won by Miguel Ángel Rodríguez who took home €58,000 for his victory.
Estrelllas Poker Tour Valencia features 12 events in total including High Roller, Pot-Limit Omaha, Hyper turbo No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout and Turbo Deepstack games.
There is also a €300 + €30 buy in Estrellas Mini event with one re-entry which starts Friday.
