888 plc, the online poker operator which has deals with Caesars Interactive, WMS, Treasure Island Casino in Nevada, said it expects to be offering online poker in the state by the fall.
Cheif executive officer, Brian Mattingley told Reuters, “In Nevada we are awaiting final sign-off by the gaming control board on our software,”
“I imagine we will start to see some really influential numbers to our business from 2015.”
He added that the first year of operation would see a big marketing spend as companies try to grab market share.
Earlier this week 888 announced record revenues of $103 million for the first quarter of 2013 buoyed by strong poker revenues and growth in Italy and Spain.
