Jeremy Ausmus Wins Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II Main EventPoker Pro Earns $121,853 For Topping 222-Player Field |

Las Vegas-based poker pro Jeremy Ausmus topped a field of 222 entrants in the 2013 Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II $2,500 no-limit hold’em main event. For the win, the 2012 World Series of Poker main event fifth-place finisher added another $121,853 to his career tournament earnings, bringing his lifetime total to just under $3.4 million.
Ausmus also earned 576 Card Player Player of the Year points, climbing to 52nd place in the overall standings. Earlier in April Ausmus finished fifth in the first ever World Series of Poker Asia Pacific event.
Ausmus had to outlast a star studded final table to capture his third career tournament title. Reigning WSOP senior’s event champion Allyn Jaffrey Shulman placed fifth for $27,924, while 2010 WSOP bracelet winner Ryan Welch finished third for $50,771.
