PokerStars Gives Full Tilt One Of Its Live Festivals

UKIPT Galway Festival Re-Branded As Full Tilt Event

Full Tilt Poker has dipped its toes back into the world of live poker after parent company PokerStars handed it the UK & Ireland Poker Tour Galway event to re-brand as its own.

The 55-tournament event, now branded the Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival, will take place from July 29 to August 12, 2013 in the Irish city and will feature a €1 million guaranteed main event.

Sarne Lightman, Full Tilt Poker’s head of marketing, said, “This is our first live poker festival since relaunch and we plan on making it one players will always remember.”

Gus Hansen’s attendances at the main event has been confirmed which will take place in a specially designated “poker village” in the heart of Galway city at a time which will also see tens of thousands of people descend on the historic town for the Volvo Ocean Race and the Galway Races.
