Amir LehavotAmir Lehavot will enter the 2013 World Series of Poker main event final table in second chip position with 29.7 million in chips. Lehavot is a 38-year-old poker pro from Weston, Fla., was born in Israel and immigrated to the U.S. when he was 16 year old. He has worked as a software developer, and even started his own poker training site, so its no surprise that he has a WSOP bracelet to his name, more than $1.5 million in live tournament earnings and nearly another $400,000 online. Recently he made the news for selling pieces of his action after making the final table.

Card Player TV caught up with Lehavot shortly after he made the final table to learn more about him and his thoughts on his chances of becoming the next world champion.

“I think the other player’s are pretty good and pretty tough. But I’m very happy to be here and I’m going to make out of the position I’m in. I feel great about it,” Lehavot told CPTV. “I’m very confidant I can win this event. I have absolutely zero expectation as to where I end up. I think it’s likely that I can finish in ninth place, and if I do, that’s okay. I’m just planning on going out there and playing my best and making good decisions, and I’m really not concerned about where I end up finishing.”
