European Poker Tour Adds Seventh Event

First Event in Germany Will Take Place in March

The European Poker Tour has announced it added another event to the third season of its series. A €5,000 event at Casino Hohensyburg in Dortmund, Germany will take place March 8-11. This will be the first EPT event staged in Germany.

Players planning to participate in this event should take notice that there's a dress code for this casino. Male players are required to wear a suit jacket and no jeans or sandals will be permitted on anyone.

This addition means that seven events will be included in the third season. There are four events left, including the German event. All the events cost €5,000 to enter, except for the final in Monte Carlo, which is €10,000. The schedule is as follows:

  • Scandinavian Open, Casino Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, Jan. 17-20
  • French Open, Deauville Casino, France, Feb. 20-24
  • EPT3 Dortmund, Casino Hohensyburg, Germany, March 8-11
  • EPT Grand Final, Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, March 28 to April 1
