Normandie Casino Gears Up To Open bar1045

Over the past two years, the Normandie Casino has gone through tremendous transformations. Most recently, the Normandie Casino closed its doors on its diner style “Bookmakers” restaurant and has been diligently working on remodeling this space to transform the restaurant into the new “bar1045.” Its namesake is derived from Normandie Casino’s address at 1045 Rosecrans Ave in Gardena, California. The new bar-restaurant maintains a modern yet comfortable design with an entirely new look including exposed, vaulted ceilings, huge flat screen televisions, and a variety of seating options to accommodate all preferences.

The Normandie Casino will be celebrating the opening of bar1045 at its Grand Opening Party on Friday, Nov. 21 at 8pm, where guests can taste the new and local craft beers, and enjoy complementary buffet and great entertainment.

This is the most recent change in a series of changes Normandie has made, the first of which was over a year ago when Normandie created the new VIP section, “The Lucky Lounge.” This new, exclusive gaming area offers a luxurious gaming experience, similar to those in Las Vegas and unlike any other card room in all of Los Angeles. Following the opening of the Lucky Lounge, the Normandie then transformed the shell of its entire gaming area with a fresh look, mirroring the Lucky Lounge but with a much more casual atmosphere.

Also, in recognition of the brave men and women who serve our country, the Normandie Casino will be holding a no-limit poker tournament on Tuesday Nov. 11 at 5:00pm.

Any player with a valid military ID will receive an extra 1,000 chips on top of the 3,000 chip starting stack, anyone not qualifying for the bonus may buy the extra chips for an additional $10. In addition to our poker tournament, players with valid military ID’s will also be offered a complementary gift package and food specials.
