Although it played out in the shadow of the $50,000 Poker Players Championship event, the $1,500 seven card stud tournament at the 2015 World Series of Poker still had plenty of star power with high-stakes poker personality Eli Elezra claiming his third career bracelet.

The 54-year-old Israel native, who now lives in Las Vegas, topped a field of 237 players and earned the $112,591 first-place prize. Elezra’s previous two bracelets came at the 2007 and 2013 WSOP.

“This one was really special to me,” Elezra said. “It’s the game many of us grew up on and it’s played by the most experienced players. When I won the deuce-to-seven (in 2013) that was very nice, but I really take extra pride in this one because so many well-known players have won it before me.”

Elezra overcame a tough final table that include former bracelet winners Allen Cunningham (3rd) and Matt Grapenthien (8th), as well as notables such as Benjamin Lazer (2nd) and Jean Gaspard (7th).

Other players to make a deep run in the event included Eric Buchman (10th), Mike Watson (11th), Vladimir Shchemelev (14th), Barry Greenstein (16th), Tom McCormick (18th) and Bill Chen (23rd).

The average age of participants in the tournament was 48, 13 years older than most tournaments. It is the oldest tournament demographic outside of the seniors events.

Here is a look at the final table results.
