Online poker legend Isaac Haxton has found a new home on the internet.

Partypoker announced Monday in a news release that it has signed the cash game specialist to a sponsorship deal. The 32-year-old Haxton, who also has more than $15 million in lifetime tournament scores, left PokerStars in early 2016 after having issue with changes the online poker leader made to its VIP rewards program.

Haxton joins an elite team of ambassadors at partypoker that includes Fedor Holz, Sam Trickett, Patrick Leonard and Jason Koon. The sponsored players were hired “to help facilitate open and effective communication channels between partypoker and the players,” the news release said. Haxton “will play a key role in partypoker’s efforts to work closely with the poker player community,” said the news release. The New York native has been playing poker professionally for over a decade and has long been considered one of the game’s most feared players.

“I am very excited to be joining the partypoker team," Haxton said. "I’ve been very impressed with their growth over the last year or so. From expanding their online cash game and tournament offerings, to improving their software, and most of all rolling out their ambitious and innovative live events program, their commitment to growing the game and providing a great product for their players has been clear. I’m truly proud to represent the company, which I believe is going to be the future of poker, online and live.”

Partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters called Haxton “a perfect ambassador.”

Last year, partypoker was able to bring on Mike Sexton as its chairman, which forced the poker Hall of Famer to leave his long-held position as WPT commentator.
