Registration Still Open For Card Player Poker Tour Venetian Main EventDay 2 Starts at 1 P.M. Monday |
|
The $5,000 buy-in Card Player Poker Tour Venetian main event, which is part of the $31 million guaranteed DeepStack Championship Poker Series, has now officially racked up 368 total entrants. That’s good for a prize pool of about $1.7 million, but that is well short of the $2 million guarantee.
The tournament must draw at least 433 entries to avoid an overlay, which means that players looking for value might want to consider buying in on day 2. Day 2 will start Monday at 1 p.m. Each player gets 25,000 in chips to start and day 2 will begin at level 9 with blinds of 400-800 with an 800 big blind ante. The levels will stay at 75 minutes for day 2 before increasing to 90 minutes on day 3 and beyond.

If you’ve missed any of the Venetian DeepStack Championship Poker Series, there’s still time to get in with two weeks of poker left on the schedule.
In addition to this $5,000 buy-in, $2 million guaranteed event, there are also plenty of other options available. Other big events remaining on the schedule include $400 no-limit hold’em superstacks, $300 no-limit hold’em progressive bounties, $300 no-limit hold’em rebuys, a $600 superstack with three starting flights, and the $400 closer, which boasts five starting flights.
