The biggest Day One so far is underway. Just before noon,
World Series of Poker officials released a list of 1,706 starting players. Registration for Day 1C has technically been closed "except for hardship cases" but that has not held down late registrations so far. The hope was, of course, to have fairly equal starting fields in all four Day One tournaments. So far - well you be the judge:
Day 1A: 1,247 entrants
Day 1B: 1,545 entrants
Day 1C: 1,749 entrants
Day 1D: ???? entrants
UPDATE: The "Official Number" for today is 1743. "Unofficial" estimates for tomorrow are 1500 to 1550.
