Coushatta Casino Resort Wraps Up 2019 With Winter Classic Poker Tournaments

Coushatta Casino, a popular poker room in Kinder, LA, is wrapping up the year with back-to-back poker tournaments at the end of December for its Winter Classic.

The pair of tournaments kicks off on Friday, December 27 with a $350 Seniors no-limit hold’em. Players must be at least 50 years old to qualify for the event, which will feature 30-minute levels and a 12,000-chip starting stack. With how popular this event has been for the poker rooms, registration already opened at the start of the month, with a possibility of the tournament hitting its cap before the 11 a.m. start.

The second half of the Winter Classic takes place the following day. The $450 no-limit hold’em main event starts on Saturday, December 28 at 11 a.m. It also features a 12,000-chip starting stack with 30-minute levels. It is a one-day event with late registration open until the end of the third level, but like the seniors event, the casino is already accepting registration from players.
