A massive brawl broke out during a poker tournament in Europe. During one of the final days of the Balkan Poker Circuit at King’s Casino in the Czech Republic, a fight broke out that saw several of the tournament’s participants swinging chairs as most of the field ran for the doors.

Someone in the casino with a higher vantage point of the situation took a video of the melee and posted it to YouTube.

One poster on a popular poker forum was in the tournament and posted about his experience in a thread detailing the incident.

According to the poster, the video only documents the final few moments of the fight and that the beginning of it was incredibly gruesome.

“I was sitting at the very next table (1 meter) away,” wrote the poster. “As if out of nowhere, very suddenly within 2 seconds a player got up and hit his fist on another player’s head five times or more. Never seen something. Very aggressive. The blood spattered all over the table. The victim fell over and the offender continued to hit him. The victim had a hole in his head.”

The poster went on to say that the initial victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the player who started the incident was arrested.

King’s Casino is the home of the World Series of Poker Europe and is one of the few properties in the world that is running large-scale multi-table tournaments. The video shows hundreds of players in the tournament area without masks on as the Czech Republic dropped the mask requirement on July 1, according to one poster in the thread.
