In the early hours of Friday morning, Patrick “Muddington” Kennedy earned the most recent bracelet of the 2020 online World Series of Poker after taking down the most recent event in the international-facing series on GGPoker.

The British player won the $840 no-limit hold’em bounty event after defeating Joshua “kaledak” Pollock heads-up. He bested a field of 2,3892 entries to earn $140,768. Kennedy earned an additional $140,680 in bounties, bringing his total haul for the victory to $245,448.

Before the win, Kennedy’s tournament track record was sparse. On the live tournament circuit, he earned just $1,544 and had slightly more than $5,000 in cashes on the GGPoker platform.

Pollock, on the other hand, already had two bracelets to his name. Pollock won a $1,500 pot-limit Omaha event at the Rio in 2013 for $279,431, and added another in the $600 pot-limit Omaha online event during last year’s WSOP. Between the bounties and the money he cashed for, the lone American at the final table earned $113,176 for his runner-up finish.

Kennedy came into the final table with the chip lead and was dominant throughout it. He scored five of the eight knockouts at the final table, concluding with Pollock’s elimination in second. He busted Franceso “Pachamama” Favia in eighth, Arie “abush” Kliper in sixth, Franco “pelaguacha” Spitale in fourth, and Bernardo “GGeKKo” Dias in third before starting his heads-up battle with Pollock.

Pollock scored a knockout of his own when he sent Chi Chung “chipuker” Ho home in fifth.

Spitale picked up a bounty for eliminating Ho Yin “hoyintai” Tai in seventh, and Ho earned the first bounty of the final table by sending Jose “robertoduran” Severino to the rail in ninth.

Final Table Results:
