Global Poker’s GOAT, part of the Global Poker Championship Series, is officially in the books following a huge Sunday slate of events that crowned not one, but two Tournament of Champions.

The three-week series featured 204 events that guaranteed a total of 330 million in Gold Coins and SC 1,100,000. Each tournament winner not only received the top prize, but also a Global Poker champions pack, and entry into the Tournament of Champions.

The Gold Coins half of the TOC was taken down by Florida player ‘Barn01’, who banked 5 million for being the last one standing. In the Sweeps Coins TOC, ‘Venomx3721’ outlasted fellow California player ‘AndreyGuima’ to win the $5,000 prize package, which will be used to represent Global Poker at a future live tournament.

Of course, the finale of the GOAT series only added to the other tournaments on the schedule, including the Sunday Teaser and Sunday Scrimmage.

The Sunday Teaser saw it’s prize pool swell about 20 percent higher than the posted guarantee, with New Jersey’s ‘Tier-Modus’ earning SC 5,837 for the win. Over in the Scrimmage, 358 entrants pushed the SC 50,000 guarantee to SC 71,600. In the end, Georgia’s ‘Klayster’ topped Missouri’s ‘5BetGarbage’ for the win and a SC 13,704 payday.
