The Eagle Cup on Global Poker continues to roll on as a marquee event wrapped up this weekend in the popular online tournament series. The SC50,000 Sunday Scrimmage had no problem clearing it’s juiced prize pool guarantee, drawing a field of 357 runners to put SC71,400 up for grabs.

The tournament ran for more than six hours, with the final 54 players all finishing in the money and pocketing at least SC357.

In the end, however, it came down to Georgia’s ‘FenrisWolf’ against Iowa’s ‘WeSHALLgambol’ for the title. ‘FenrisWolf’ was able to outlast his opponent for the win, earning a payday of SC13,665.

Global Poker’s longest-running online tournament series, the Eagle Cup, returned to the site for the fourth year.

The series officially kicked off Oct. 26 and features more than three weeks of tournament action with huge guarantees. Overall, the schedule has 103 Gold Coin events, along with 104 Sweeps Coin events. There’s more than GC 360 million and SC 1.2 million up for grabs!

Tournament winners will not only receive a custom Eagle Cup IV avatar, but also a Global Poker Champions Pack, which includes a trophy and exclusive site SWAG. Winners will also be invited to compete in the Tournament of Champions on Sunday, Nov. 22.
