The eleventh World Series of Poker Online gold bracelet of 2021 was been captured by Vijay ‘Eclypzed’ Para. The New Jersey resident defeated a field of 1,417 total entries to take down the $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em ‘Ultra Deepstack’ event for his first bracelet and the top prize of $86,210.

Para will add his new bracelet to his two WSOP Circuit gold rings in his trophy collection. Like this latest win, both of Para’s prior title runs in WSOP-branded events came in online events. Both of his prior victories came in $320 buy-in online circuit events, with a win in spring of 2020 for $41,895 and another this February for $22,623.

The strong turnout for this event resulted in a $510,120 prize pool which was paid out among the top 248 finishers. Among the notable players to make deep runs inside the money in this event were 2017 WSOP main event winner Scott ‘ItsNVRgoDown’ Blumstein (93rd – $765), six-time WSOPC ring winner Matt ‘RubberFist’ Stout (81st – $969), Landon ‘ActionDealer’ Tice (56th – $1,275), three-time bracelet winner Upeshka ‘gomezhamburg’ De Silva (34th – $2,091), 2010 WSOP main event runner-up finisher Jesse ‘MrJesseJames’ Sylvia (32nd – $2,091), Roland ‘prngls12’ Israelashvili (26th – $2,601), Dan ‘pepperprince’ Zack (23rd – $2,602), Joon “jykpoker” Kim (14th – $4,081), and bracelet winner Yueqi ‘anoob’ Zhu (10th – $5,203).

Para held the chip lead going into the final table of nine. Jesse ‘Rebuysexual’ Cohen was the first to fall when his A-K failed to hold up against the A-10 of fellow short stack ‘MasPollo’. Cohen flopped top pair, but ‘MasPollo’ made top two pair and held through the turn and river to eliminate Cohen in ninth place ($6,683).

Anthony 'heheh' ZinnoThree-time World Poker Tour main event champion and two-time bracelet winner Antonhy ‘heheh’ Zinno came close to securing his third bracelet. The 2015 Card Player Player of the Year award winner lost a battle of the blinds with 6-4 offsuit to the A-10 of Alexander ‘ShadowFiend1’ Condon to hit the rail with $8,672 for his eighth-place showing.

Jordan ‘DroppinDimes’ Ragan’s run in this event came to an end when he ran ADiamond SuitQDiamond Suit into the pocket aces of Felix ‘madenspauwke’ Vandeput. Ragan picked up a straight draw on the turn, but was unable to hit his outs on the river and was eliminated in seventh place ($11,427). Para remained in the lead heading into six-handed play, with Vandeput now sitting as the next-largest stack after winning this hand.

Anthony ‘Nowb3Athat’ Spinella won the first-ever WSOP bracelet awarded in an online event, earning $197,743 for taking down the inaugural $1,000 buy-in held in 2015. His run at a second online bracelet came to an end when his A-9 clashed with the A-Q of Vandeput, who held to eliminate Spinella (6th – $15,202) and further close the gap with Para.

Vandeput earned his third straight elimination when his pocket eights held up against the Q-9 offsuit of the player known only by their screen name ‘MasPollo’. They took home $20,456 as the fifth-place finisher while Vandeput surged into the chip lead.

2016 WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic main event fourth-place finisher Alexander ‘ShadowFiend1’ Condon bowed out in fourth place when his A-3 lost out to the pocket fours of a red-hot Vandeput. Condon was awarded $27,802 for his deep run. Alex ‘rip_neiko’ Rocha was not able to make his small pocket pair hold up. He got the last of his stack in with 3Spade Suit3Club Suit facing the ADiamond Suit8Diamond Suit of Vandeput on an eight-high flop. Rocha received no help on further streets and was sent to the virtual rail in third place $38,259.

With that, Vandeput took more than a 2:1 chip lead into heads-up play. Para was able to battle his way into the lead, and soon had more than a 2:1 lead of his own. In the final hand, Vandeput limped in for 2,000,000 from the button with 9Spade Suit3Heart Suit and Para checked with QHeart Suit6Diamond Suit. The flop came down KClub SuitQSpade Suit10Diamond Suit and Para checked. Vandeput bet 2,000,000. The 6Heart Suit turn gave Para queens up. He checked again and Vandeput fired another 6,800,000. Vabdeput called and the 5Spade Suit completed the board. Para checked and Vandeput moved all-in for 18,545,083. Para made the call with his two pair to pick off Vandeput’s bluff, eliminating him in second place ($53,155) and securing the title in the process.
