The 2024 Summer Poker Series at Resorts World Las Vegas has officially moved into its second month of action. The festival sports 82 events, with more than $900,000 in total guarantees between them. It runs from June 6 – July 22.

Event #43 – $15,000 Guaranteed $300 No-Limit Hold’em Event

Eleftherios SinnosEleftherios Sinnos outlasted a field of 159 entries in event no. 43, a $300 buy-in no-limit hold’em event. The event more than doubled its $15,000 guarantee, with $41,340 in total prize money paid out among the top 19 finishers.

Sinnos earned $7,513 as the champion. This was his second-largest score, trailing the $28,000 that the Cyprus resident earned for a sixth-place finish in a $1,100 buy-in event at the 2022 Mediterranean Poker Party.

William Hall, who won a $200 buy-in event and made two other final tables at the same price point earlier this series, finished runner-up for $6,662.

Event #44 – $5,000 Guaranteed $200 No-Limit Hold’em Event

Jesus AyalaThe next $5,000 guaranteed $200 buy-in event on the schedule attracted 117 entries by the end of registration, resulting in a final prize pool of nearly four times the size of the guarantee. The $19,305 was split amongst the top 12, with Jesus Ayala scoring the largest share at $3,741.

This was the 14th recorded score and first victory on Ayala’s tournament resume.

Mario De Souza made his second final table of the series, finishing seventh for $860.

Event #45 – $15,000 Guaranteed $300 No-Limit Hold’em Event

Anthony PathmanWith 172 entries, event no. 45 nearly tripled its $15,000 guarantee to end with $44,720. Anthony Pathman secured the top payout of $12,074 after defeating Abraham Pfeffer heads-up.

This win came less than a month removed from Pathman’s largest live cash of $15,583 for finishing fifth in a $300 buy-in event at the PokerAtlas Tour bestbet St. Augustine stop.

Pfeffer earned $7,462 as the runner-up.

Event #46 – $5,000 Guaranteed $200 No-Limit Hold’em Event

Jason SimmonsJason Simmons recorded his first live tournament victory by topping a field of 137 entries in event no. 46. The strong turnout saw the $200 buy-in’s $5,000 guarantee more than quadrupled, with $22,605 paid out across the top 15 finishers.

Guillermo Garcia walked away with $3,659 as the runner-up. Martine Gomez finished seventh for a fourth cash of the series. Gomez added two more final-table showings after this one, bringing their total haul to $8,426 for the festival.

Event #47 – $15,000 Guaranteed $300 No-Limit Hold’em Event

Paulo MacedoPaulo Macedo of Brazil beat out a massive field of 296 entries in event no. 47. The surge in attendance saw the $15,000 guarantee absolutely demolished.

The resulting $76,960 prize pool was paid out among the top 30 finishers, with five-figure paydays for the top three after an apparent deal brought the event to an end.

Marios Eracleous earned $12,171 as the runner-up, while Corey Dillon cashed for $11,072 as the third-place finisher.

Event #48 – $5,000 Guaranteed $200 No-Limit Hold’em Event

On the night before Independence Day, a total of 154 entries were made in event no. 48 to more than quintuple the $5,000 guarantee.

Peter Lee emerged victorious, capturing the title and the top prize of $6,000. This was Lee’s first live cash since making the money in the 2022 World Series of Poker $1,000 mystery bounty event. He now has more than $33,600 in career scores to his name.

James Charbonneau was awarded $4,220 as the runner-up finisher.

Diogo VevesThe $15,000 guarantee for event no. 49 was more than tripled, with 186 entries resulting in a final prize pool of $48,360.

Diogo Veves triumphed in the end, taking home $11,787 as the champion. This was the first recorded live score for Veves.

Lorna Oputu, Ran Tani, and Pere Tella all earned $5,200 after an apparent deal. John Allen finished sixth for $2,032. This was his 30th recorded score, bringing his lifetime haul to $128,657.

Lynn XiaLynn Xia overcame a field of 119 entries in the $5,000 guaranteed $200 buy-in that ran on the 4th of July. Xia was awarded $5,737 as the winner.

Ric Cacho finished second for $3,557.

Howard Mazer, who won a $200 buy-in event earlier this series, finished sixth in this event for $1,030. Mazer now has $60,654 in overall earnings.

Xia now has $28,014 in total earnings across 14 cashes, with two outright victories.

Patrick GunrajPatrick Gunraj captured the 12th title of his career, outlasting a field of 187 entries to earn $9,851. The victory increased his lifetime earnings to $346,270.

Charles Leroi earned $9,000 as the runner-up. Mario De Souza secured $2,043 as the sixth-place finisher at his third final table of the series.

The top 21 finishers earned a share of the $48,620 prize pool.

Event #52 – $5,000 Guaranteed $200 No-Limit Hold’em Event

A 109-entry turnout for event no. 52 resulted in a $17,895 prize pool split across 12 in-the-money finishers.

The largest chunk went to Casey Hayes, who earned $5,199 as the winner. This was Hayes’ 13th recorded tournament title. He now has more than $346,000 in earnings across 67 cashes.

His largest was a $30,820 payday earned for winning a $1,100 buy-in event at the 2015 L.A. Poker Classic.

Byoung Kim finished second for $3,315. This was the second runner-up showing of the festival for Kim.

Aaron GardnerWith 198 entries, the prize pool ballooned to $51,480 for event no. 53. The top 21 finishers cashed, with Aaron Gardner earning $8,049 as the eventual champion.

This was the 16th cash and first title on Gardner’s tournament resume. The score grew his lifetime haul to over $52,200.

Eleftherios Sinnos, just a handful of days removed from a win in an earlier $300 buy-in event, placed fifth for $5,000.

Mariusz Oledzki was awarded $3,315 as the runner-up finisher.

Florida’s Nikhil Sunku finished fifth for $1,129. This was his 22nd recorded score of Sunku, who recently finished third in the RunGood Poker Series main event at bestbet Jacksonville for $51,429.

The $15,000 guarantee was nearly doubled in event no. 55, with 114 entries building a prize pool of $29,640.

John McMahon came away with $6,295 for the win, growing his total earnings to over $75,500 in the process.
