John Racener earned a piece of jewelry last night when he won the $5,000 championship event that concluded the World Series of Poker Circuit's stop at Harrah's Atlantic City. Racener, of Port Richey, Florida, won $379,392. He now has more than $790,000 in tournament winnings. Winners of WSOP Circuit events take home rings, and Racener is now the proud owner of one.

The event attracted 244 players who generated a prize pool of $1.19 million. The top 27 players earned at least $7,114, and the runner-up, Eric Buchman, took home $208,666. Feming Chan finished third for $106,704, Joseph "JOEYTHEB" Brooks finished fourth for $82,992, and Thomas Patrick Fee rounded out the top five, earning $71,136. This was the fifth event in Harrah's WSOP Circuit 2007/08 calendar.

The next event runs from Jan. 3-22 at Grand Casino Tunica in Mississippi. The $7,500 championship event starts Jan. 19.
