The Players Network and Comcast Cable Make a Deal

Shows Will Now Be "On Demand"

The gaming lifestyle channel Players Network inked a multiyear deal with cable giant Comcast to provide original Players Network content to Comcast's On Demand feature.

The agreement follows a successful video on-demand test of the Players Network that took place in 23 markets during the last year. The Players Network will be seen in all of Comcast's markets starting Nov. 8.

Through On Demand, the channel will offer talk shows, poker and gaming educational seminars, and unique lifestyle entertainment featuring celebrities such as company spokesman James Caan, Jennifer Tilley, Gabe Kaplan, Doyle
Brunson, Phil Laak, Jennifer Harmon, Chris Moneymaker, Daniel Negreanu, Johnny Chan, Cyndy Violette, and Chris Ferguson.
