The first ever Donkr.com Online Poker Tour (DOPT) live event was won by young Latvian, Ernests Patajs.
The €500+50 no-limit hold’em event began on May 28 and played out for three days at the Olympic Voodoo Casino in Riga, Latvia. Donkr.com users qualified via various poker sites with 35 of them winning DOPT Live packages.
They were joined at the debut event by 25 Scandinavians and 16 locals, creating a prize pool of more than €40,000.

It was Patajs however who rose to the top and took home the first place prize of €12,000. Viktors Vorobjovs finished as runner-up for a payday of €7,800. The most recognisable poker face at the event was Jesper Hougaard who finished in seventh place for €1,700.
