Tony Hachem Wins ANZPT Champion Title

Scott Kerr Wins Final Queensland Leg of PokerStars Australia New Zealand Poker Tour; Tony Hachem Wins Points Leader Board

Scott Kerr (pictured) won the final leg of the PokerStars.net Australia New Zealand Poker Tour in Queensland over the weekend while Tony Hachem, brother of former world champion Joe, won the title of overall tour champion, topping the leader board with five cashes out of six tournaments on the tour.

Kerr topped the 249-strong field at Jupiter’s Casino, Gold Coast taking down the top prize of AU$168,075 (€99,271) while Hachem wins entry into all upcoming PokerStars.com Asia Pacific Poker Tour events across Asia-Pacific.

“I am very happy to be the "PokerStars.net ANZPT Champion,” said Hachem after the event. “This tour has been a fantastic experience. I am looking forward to keeping up my good form when the APPT starts in Macau later this month.”
