The World Poker Tour $15,000 no-limit hold’em championship event begins today at Bellagio. The event is the 19th on the schedule for the 2009 Festa al Lago Classic tournament series, which is being hosted at Bellagio. Card Player will feature full live coverage from the WPT event, including live updates, chip counts, photos, and videos from Card Player TV. All of the action starts at noon PDT. Players will begin with 60,000 in tournament chips, and blinds will begin at 50-100. Levels will be 90 minutes long, and there will be a 15-minute break at the end of each level. The official tournament sheet also states that players may buy in for the first eight levels of the event. Here is a look at the full schedule for the event:
