Jennifer Tilly will Host the All in for CP Charity EventThe Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will host a $550 no-limit hold’em tournament with $200 rebuys on Saturday, Dec. 12 in Las Vegas. The charity event will benefit The One Step Closer Foundation, which is a non-profit, charitable organization whose main goal is to ease, as much as possible, the lives of those who suffer from cerebral palsy. Half of the prize pool will be donated directly to charity.

The tournament is schedule to start at 2 p.m., and anyone interested in tickets can call (281) 740-8604. There will also be an after-party that evening, which will be sponsored by the Poker Players Alliance.

The second-annual All in for CP charity tournament will be welcoming actors Dean Cain, Ken Davitian, Shannon Elizabeth, Glenn Morshower, TV personality Montel Williams, lead Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Napster creator Shawn Fanning, WWE diva Alicia Webb, and playmates Stacy Fusion, Jennifer Leigh, and Brande Roderick (along with husband and former Denver Bronco linebacker Glenn Cadrez).

Poker players in attendance will include Jamie Gold, Barry Greenstein, Pamela Brunson, Todd Brunson, Phil Laak, Clonie Gowen, and Men Nguyen. Jennifer Tilly (pictured above right) is the hostess of the event.

Last year, the event was won by The Simpsons creator Sam Simon, who graciously donated all of his winnings. Simon will be back this year to defend his title. The tournament raised $44,000 for charity in 2008.

“We hope to see a future where cerebral palsy is a thing of the past,” says Jacob Zalewski, the president and CEO of the One Step Closer Foundation who suffers from cerebral palsy. “We know we are getting one step closer to that vision every day.”
