The Euro Finals of Poker, currently underway at the Aviation Club de France, sees the €5,000 Diamond Championship main event start this evening with Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott returning to defend the title.
The winners at the 14 event festival so far are:
€500 buy-in no-limit hold’em warm up: Jerome Debrie — $14,401
€250 buy-in no-limit hold’em: Abdelakim Laidouni — $10,474
€200 buy-in limit H.O.R.S.E.: Nicholas Barthe — $9,705
€100 buy-in pot-limit Omaha high-low: David Alimi — $16,588
€250 buy-in no-limit hold’em seniors: Michel Riou — $4,338
€150 buy-in no-limit hold’em ladies: Sabrina Derdar — $3,403
€500 no-limit hold’em Bronze Championship: Richard Amar — $27,864
€1,000 no-limit hold’em Silver Championship: Pierre Canali — $81,849
Tuesday and Wednesday saw the €2,000 no-limit hold’em Gold Championship and €1,000 pot-limit Omaha event respectively. The two remaining events are:
Sat. Feb. 13, 8 p.m. — €1,000 no-limit hold’em Ultimate tournament
Sunday Feb. 14, 2 p.m. — €250 no-limit hold’em short-handed championship
Tomorrow also sees the European Poker Awards held at the club managed by Bruno Fitoussi (pictured)
