The World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic Adds Andras Koroknai and Raymond Dolan to the Top 10
The World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event ended on Thursday and thanks to the massive field of 745 players there was a lot of money and Card Player Player of the year points up for grabs. The champion was Hungarian Andras Koroknai, who took home the first-place prize of $1,788,001. He also took home 2,400 points and jumped up to sixth place in the standings for the victory. The runner-up at Commerce Casino was Raymond Dolan. He was awarded $1,002,710 and 2,000 points to move into eighth place on the leader board. The tournament turnout produced so many POY points that even the third-place finisher is now close to cracking the top 10. Tri Huynh was awarded 1,600 points and he took home $665,136 in prize money. He is currently tied for 14th place.
