NAPT -- Mohegan Sun Tournament Series Begins

The PokerStars North American Poker Tour has pulled into the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for the next stop of season one. The $5,000 no-limit hold’em main event will begin on April 7, and it will crown a champion on April 11. There will also be a $10,000 no-limit hold’em high-roller bounty tournament that runs on April 12 and 13. In addition to these two marquee events, the tournament series will host 22 preliminary events.

Games spread will include no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better, seven-card stud, and H.O.S.E. There will be a $300 ladies no-limit hold’em event that takes place on April 10. The multiple no-limit hold’em events will also offer variety for the players with structure variations featuring rebuy, shootout, deep stack, bounty, and turbo formats.

Players will begin with 30,000 in chips in the $5,000 no-limit hold’em main event, and blinds will begin at 50-100. Levels will be 60 minutes long on day 1, and levels will increase to 75 minutes in length thereafter. There will be 15-minute breaks after every second level. All tournament days begin at noon. The final table will be filmed to air on ESPN2. Here is a look at the NAPT Mohegan Sun main event schedule:
