North American Poker Tour Mohegan Sun Begins Tomorrow

The $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event Will be Followed by a $25,000 High Roller Bounty Shootout

Mohegan SunThe $5,000 no-limit hold’em main event at the PokerStars North American Poker Tour stop at the Mohegan Sun Casino in New England begins tomorrow at noon. The tournament is the last stop featured on the current NAPT season one schedule, following the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and the Las Vegas stop that took place at the Venetian Hotel and Casino. The main event will run through Sunday, April 11, when a champion is crowned at the final table.

In addition to the main event, players at this New England stop on the NAPT can also enter the $25,000 no-limit hold’em bounty shootout. This high-roller event will run for two days and it begins on April 12. Both of these events will be filmed for television production on ESPN2.

Players will begin with 60,000 in chips and levels will be 60-minutes long in the main event. Levels will increase to 75 minutes in length on day 2 and thereafter. In the bounty shootout, players will begin with 25,000 in chips and levels will be 60 minutes long. There will be a $5,000 bounty seated at each table and the winner of each table moves on to the final table.
