Mike Caro Is Going Back to College

'Mad Genius' to Lecture at Irish University

Mike Caro, the "Mad Genius of Poker," will give a lecture at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, April 13. He'll also take part in a question-and-answer session and book signing.

While in Ireland, Caro is playing in the PaddyPokerPoker.com Irish Open, a €3,200 buy-in, $1 million-guaranteed no-limit hold'em event. PaddyPowerPoker.com added €50,00 to this event. The championship event starts April 14.

Players in Ireland for the tournament - or those lucky enough to be able to jet to the island on a relatively short notice - can register to see Caro's talk by calling the University Philosophy Society at 00 353 87 774 7823.

Caro wrote one of the most popular books about poker, Mike Caro's Book of Tells, and is the founder of Mike Caro's University of Poker, Gambling, and Life Strategy.

The Irish Open is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. It's being held at the Jurys Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. The final table, which takes place April 19, will be broadcast live on SkySports.
