The second $1,500 main event final table for the 2010-11 World Series of Poker Circuit tour will take place on Tuesday, October 12 and Card Player will be there to bring you all of the action from the final day. The tournament is contesting day 1 today and the final nine will be decided Monday night. The main event attracted 289 players and the total prize pool is $416,160.
The WSOP Circuit events will feature a standardized tournament structure during the new season. You can check out that blind structure on Card Player’s landing page for this tournament.
The final table will begin at 2 p.m. CST at the Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana in Elizabeth, Indiana, which is right across the river border with Louisville, Kentucky. There will be a lot up for grabs between the final nine contestants in the event when cards get into the air on Tuesday. The winner will take home the largest cut from the prize pool, which is $98,878 for first place. They will also be awarded a WSOP Circuit gold ring and an automatic entry in the $1 million guaranteed National Championship that will take place in May 2011 and award a WSOP gold bracelet.
Players will also earn points in the $1,500 main event that go toward qualifying in the National Championship. Here is a break down of the points that will be awarded at the $1,500 main event at the Horseshoe Casino southern Indiana on Tuesday:
1st: 100 points
2nd: 75 points
3rd: 60 points
4th: 55 points
5th: 50 points
6th: 45 points
7th: 40 points
8th: 35 points
9th: 30 points
10th-18th: 20 points
19th-27th: 10 points
Cashing: 5 points
