Jennifer Tilly Busts Shawn CunixFeb 27, '11 They’re starting to drop like flies now. A player opened for 3,700 and was called by both Jennifer Tilly and Shawn Cunix in the small blind. The flop came J-9-5 with two diamonds and Tilly led for 7,000. Cunix raised to 20,000 and the original raiser folded. Tilly moved all in and Cunix called off the rest of his stack with 43 for a flush draw. Tilly showed 9-5 for two pair and it held when the turn and river was blanks. Tilly now has 255,000 in chips. When he moved all in near the end of the level he held pocket queens against the pocket twos of his opponent. The flop ran out 10-5-2 to give his opponent a set. The turn nor river delivered any help for Sebok and he was eliminated on the hand. Shawn Cunix Eliminated Shawn Cunix was looking good to double up when he flopped trip eights on a A-8-8 flop. He held 8-6, but his opponent held 10-8. The turn and river fell 5-9 and Cunix was eliminated from the tournament thanks to his opponent’s 10-kicker. Ryan D’Angelo Gains Some Chips Against Joseph Cheong Ryan D’Angelo raised to 300 and Chad Batista reraised to 900 from the small blind. Joseph Cheong made the call from the big blind. Amazing Hand -- Shawn Cunix Makes QuadsApr 19, '10 After several preflop raises, Shawn Cunix, Cary Katz and Alex Kamberis found all the money in the middle of the table. Cunix showed pocket jacks, but he was bested by Kamberis and his pocket kings. Katz did them one better by showing down pocket aces. Nonetheless, the board ran out A-J-X-K-J and both Katz and Kamberis lost with full houses to Cunix and his quad jacks. All three players are still in, but Kamberis is now in trouble with 35,000.
