Jing’s stack grew to 1.6 million while Johnson won $8,225 for finishing 10th. Suyemoto called and they watched the K fall on the turn. Suyemoto bet 90,000 and Johnson took a few moments before announcing he was all in for roughly 370,000. The dealer pulled in 90,000 from each player and Suyemoto went into the tank. After several minutes in the tank, another player at the table called a clock on Suyemoto. Suyemoto didn’t spend too much time in the tank before letting his hand go and Johnson scooped the pot. Johnson chipped up to 795,000 while Suyemoto slide to 600,000. After a few folds, Marco Johnson announced he was all in and was putting Nguyen’s tournament life at risk. Nguyen went into the tank for a few minutes before mucking pocket jacks face up. “That was either the best fold I’ve ever made or the worst,” he said. Keikoan holds well over 100,000 and he has one of the few stacks in the tournament that could really hurt Reyes if he went further down the rabbit’s hole and the hand went poorly for him. Kessler held JJ and was ahead of Townsend’s K8. The board ran out A103K3 and the king on the turn gave Townsend the pot as Kessler becomes the day’s first casualty. Fischman Scoops a Big One Stud 8 Brian Townsend: (X-X)-8-2A3-(X) Richard Ashby led on fourth street and all three players called. Townsend took the lead and bet out on fifth and was only called by Fischman. Townsend checked and called a bet from Fischman on sixth and seventh. Fischman turned over the 8-4-2 in the hole to show two pair and an eight-low to scoop the pot. Fischman moved up to 610,000 and Townsend fell to 550,000. Abe Mosseri Eliminated Hold’em Abe Mosseri was very short and got the last of his chips in the pot against Matt Glantz. Glantz showed AK and Mosseri was in bad shape showing the A9. The board came 7Q6410 which kept Glantz’s big slick in the lead and is up to 230,000 in chips while Mosseri is sent home with almost $22,000 for his time. Crazy Marco Gets Best of Brunson Omaha 8 Marco Johnson raised from the cutoff and was called in position by Todd Brunson on the button. Johnson bet every street on a board that came off 66658 and Brunson called him down the whole way. Johnson showed JJA2, giving him a big full house and the nut low.
